Monem H. Alyaser, Ph.D. Dr. Alyaser co-founded Combustion & Process Technology in 1995 to solve the energy inefficiency, acid rain and emissions problems from industrial plants. His pioneering field engineering work led to the reduction of emissions by as much as 66% for companies such as Norske Canada, International Paper, Inco and Falconbridge. Monem provided engineering consulting services to high-tech companies such as Apple, HP, Dell, Cisco, Huawei and Google. He also served as a consultant to venture capital groups and international companies such as Hitachi. Dr. Alyaser is the inventor of the Enventix integrated gasification and steam generation system, and the biochar converter. |

Carter Chapin Hallock, Chief Executive Officer – ReThink Green, Inc. Mr. Hallock began Rethink Green in 2009 to create an environmentally responsible method for disposing of waste carpet materials. Rethink Green addresses the social, environmental, and economic aspects of the business. His lean-processing facility focused on outsourcing recycling processes for nylon carpet materials was profitable in the first year of operations (2011). R&D for waste-to-energy and waste-to-fuel completed 3 successful test runs using waste carpet with two different systems (pyrolysis system on 3/19/2012 to run a generator and on 9/21/2012 to make FT Diesel) (steam reformer system on 9/26/2013 to power a fuel cell). |

Bridgett Luther, President. Luther Consulting Ms. Luther is a consultant and advisor with decades of experience in creating new solutions to the problems Fortune 500 companies face in the 21st century. She is serving a second term on the USEPA's National Advisory Council on Environmental Policy and Technology and serves as advisor to the National Zero Waste Council, Vancouver, British Columbia. Ms. Luther is very familiar with AB2398 and the California carpet recycling stewardship effort. Her focus will be on bringing her Cradle to Cradle experience to the team along with more than 20 years of experience in recycling and her ability to connect people with solutions. |

Ed Murray, Ph.D. Dr. Murray is an executive and advisor for clean tech companies. He bid and won the i6 Green Challenge Program with the Economic Development Administration directed toward accelerating the growth of clean tech companies, creating jobs, and improving the environment. For the Cleantech Open National Strategic Advisory Board, Ed drove the strategic plan and architected the alignment of the board of directors to the new organizational goals. He devised and tested innovative business models to create additional revenue streams. Advised dozens of clean tech companies on their business plan, investor pitch, technology, customers, and go-to-market strategy. |

Susan Tarka Sanchez Ms. Tarka Sanchez is a Los Angeles-based Sustainability Strategy and Supply Chain advisor, working with companies to develop and scale compliant, systematic, and scalable solutions to some of the world’s biggest challenges. With a background in Agroecology, Environmental Chemistry, Botany, Materials Science, Cladistic Analytics, Machine Learning, Six Sigma and Engineering, Susan has worked for start-ups including Solazyme (now Terravia), and F500 companies including PG&E, Southern California Edison, Chevron, Unilever, Levis Strauss & Co. Most recently, she led the Green Chemistry strategy and Product Integrity operations across the Walt Disney Company enterprise. . |
